We have been watching Pokémon since our childhood and we never get tired of it, admit it. And this anime movie also remade as Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution, is one of the most liked movie of all times. Ash and Pikachu meet Mewtwo which has been produced artificially and what follows is power packed adventure. If you ask me, what has been the highlight of the movie… I would say, the scene when Ash has turned into stone and Pikachu is weeping, trying hard to revive Ash. That really moved me and I guess that’s how anime is different from cartoons. Its characters are so much emotionally evolved that you feel an instant connection with them.

3. Howl’s Moving Castle

Based on the British novel of the same name, by Diana Wynne Jones, Howl’s Moving Castle is another piece of work by Hayao Miyazaki that lead us to the fantasy world, yet again. The female protagonist of the movie, Sophie turns into a 90-year old woman by the curse of a witch. Adventure, the main character Howl and the moving castle is all what we get in the movie.

Akira is an anime movie that has been ahead of its time and still people have loved it. The plot is set in World War 3 backdrop, in Tokyo. The story revolves around two main characters, Shotaro Kaneda who is the leader of Bosozoku group and his childhood friend Tetsuo Shima. The main plot starts when Tetsuo gains a supernatural power after a bike accident. What happens next is something you should discover yourself.
