2. Big Mouth

Starring: Gina Rodriguez, Nick Kroll, John Mulaney

Synopsis: Big mouth is a Netflix animated series in which the adventures of two teenage boys are spotlighted. It follows the teens as they make their way through puberty and and all that it has in store. The comical sitcom features hormone monsters as shoulder-angels advising the characters when they are sexually aroused. It often personifies objects like a statue or a pillow capable of getting pregnant. They seek out their destiny as puberty destroys them mentally and physically.

3. The Witcher

It’s a perfect lockdown entertainment, because the escalating nature of the jokes results in so many unpredictable left turns that it may match your own warped sense of humor after getting stuck inside for  several weeks.

5. Castlevania

Synopsis: Castlevania is a fascinating show which is adapted by famous comic book writer Warren Ellis, from the classic series of video games published by Konami.  The series kicks off as Dracula declares war on humanity following the murder of his wife, and vampire hunter Trevor Belmont joins hands with Dracula’s half-human son Alucard to bring him down. It is an excellent game adaptation with meticulous fight sequences and great character interplay.

7. The Crown

Starring: Clair Foy, Olivia Colman

Synopsis: The Crown is Netflix’s take on the life of British royals, the likes of which are expected from BBC. It follows the story of a young, inexperienced Elizabeth from her hard-achieved marriage with Prince Phillip to the untimely death of her father, King George, and her coronation. The show brings to the fore the complexities in the social and personal life of the young royal as she struggles to rule over her country and save her relationships with her husband and her sister.

8. BoJack Horseman

Starring: Will Arrnett, Aaron Paul, Amy Sedaris

10. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

Starring: Kiernan Shipka, Miranda Otto, Chance Perdomo

Synopsis: Chilling Adventures of Sabrina follows the coming of age story of Sabrina, a teenage witch. The story is set in the fictional town of Greendale. Horror and witchcraft are the prominent themes throughout the series.  Sabrina Spellman must reconcile her dual nature as a half-Witch, half-mortal while fighting the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit.
