The thrilling monster film ‘Godzilla vs Kong’ is the sequel to the movies ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters'(2019) and ‘Kong: Skull Island'(2017). It is a confluence featuring the two giant, destruction machines in an overwhelming confrontation. ‘Godzilla vs Kong’ is also the 36th film in the Godzilla franchise and the 12th film in the Kong franchise. Alexander Skarsgard plays the role of a geoglogist, who is also the unequipped, reluctant hero of the movie. Millie Bobby Brown is featured as Madison Russell. She will play the character who can’t decide which monster to side with. Rebecca Hall can be seen in the movie which will be her first appearance since pregnancy. Apart from these, we have Shun Oguri, Eiza Gonzalez, Kyle Chandler and Brian Tyree Henry. In November 2018, Jessica Henwick and Lance Reddick were also cast in the movie.

Godzilla vs Kong in a nutshell
The movie aims to unite the monsterverse of Godzilla and King Kong. In a world where man and monster coexist, nefarious forces conspire to set the two monsters on a collision course. Monarch must lead the way into a peaceful future, keeping humanity in check.

A few shots of the movie leaked by Warner Bros. to tease the audience show Godzilla and Kong entangled in a brawl on, what appears to be, the deck of an aircraft carrier. The scene shows that Kong has formidably gained size since its appearance in Skull Island. Wingard also confirmed that the film will follow Godzilla’s timeline therefore featuring a much aged King Kong.
In October 2015, Legendary Films had confirmed that they would unite the monsterverse of Godzilla and Kong. In addition to this, the initial release date was announced to be May 29, 2020. The movie aimed at bringing together an ecosystem of giant creatures where humans lived alongside monsters.
In July 2017, Wingard confirmed that the writer room was working on the intricacies of the upcoming movie. The creators are hoping to give the audience a definite winner of this monster brawl. The film’s shooting on different locations wrapped up in mid 2019, Hong Kong being the last location. Warner Bros. announced the final release date to be November 20, 2020.
