As the coronavirus pandemic continues with increasing cases every day, the Bachchan family got tested positive for COVID-19. Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan after being tested positive for the virus were admitted to the hospital on Saturday. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her 8-year-old daughter, Aradhya Bachchan have also been tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, a day after Amitabh and Abhishek got admitted to the hospital.
Aishwarya decides to quarantine at her home with her daughter Aradhya. However, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation will be taking a written declaration from Aishwarya for being treated at home in isolation. Jaya Bachchan, wife of Amitabh Bachchan has been tested negative for the virus as confirmed by son, Abhishek Bachchan in a tweet.
How did we get to know “Bachchan family got tested positive for COVID-19” ?
Regarding the medical condition of the actors, Amitabh and Abhishek, the Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital said that they are in stable condition and have been admitted in the isolation unit. There were a lot of rumours about Abhishek Bachchan getting discharged from the hospital. However, the actor made it clear through his tweet that he and his father are in the hospital, getting the required treatment and will remain in the hospital till the doctors decide.
In a tweet, on Saturday, Amitabh said that he has been tested positive and also appealed to people to get tested, who were in close proximity to him since past 10 days. There have been a lot of tweets of celebrities, praying and wishing for fast recovery of the Bachchan family.
Moreover, all the four Bungalows owned by the Bachchan family have been sealed. To name them, Jalsa, Janak, Pratiksha and Vatsa have been declared under the containment zone. Contact tracing among all the staff members are being conducted and till now 30 of them have been identified as high-risk contacts. Other people of the family including maids and guards have also been tested and the number is 16.
Amitabh Bachchan was currently dubbing for the web series, Breathe into The Shadows, with co-actor, Amit Sadh. And now, he is also going to be tested for the virus.
