The Indian film industry alias Bollywood is a hotspot for actors and artists. Bollywood is mainly centered in the city of Mumbai. It is called the city of dreams and this name is well suited to the place as it indeed gives wings to the dreams of people. Bollywood has given us numerous memorable movies that have played an integral part of our life and while growing up, every Indian has been heavily influenced by the film industry.

Bollywood has not only influenced the way people in India dress but also the thought process. And, while Bollywood is an amalgamation of artists ranging from actors, directors, singers, choreographers ,dancers, fashion designers and also the technicians such as cinematographers, crew boys and so many others. But, fortunately or unfortunately all the limelight is always on the actors. Mostly, because people see actors on screen and are highly influenced by them.

The Indian film industry has given us so many phenomenal actors over the years. Some veteran actors are legendary and totally life inspiring while honestly, some are not really great. But, here we are going to talk about the Bollywood actors fans want back on screen. The shelf life of actors in the film industry depends on the number of hits and flops they deliver. And, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that luck and fate also play a decisive role.

Sustaining in the chaos of Bollywood is nothing less than a herculean task. Because, the career graph here is so fluctuating all the time. Nothing is permanent here. Some actors sustain here even after delivering some of the biggest flops and few vanish out of the public eye even after giving a box office success. You never know what’s in store for you, here in Bollywood.

There are some actors whom we haven’t seen in a long time. These are some who have delivered box office smashes and yet we have not seen them on the silver screens for a long time. The first name on the list would be the Vivaah fame Amrita Rao. Actress Amrita Rao rose to prominence after her role as a chaste, family girl Poonam in the romantic family drama Vivaah. Vivaah was a great success as it catered to the Indian audience liking a family centric love story. Before Vivaah, she had also played the role of an army officer in the multi starrer film Main Hoon Naa in 2004.

For this role, she was nominated for the Filmfare award for best supporting actress. After Main hoon naa , Vivaah was her next big hit in the year 2006. She continued to work in films but those did not really work for her. In 2013, she did three films Jolly LLB, Satyagraha and Singh Saab the great. She received positive reviews for her work in Satyagraha and Jolly LLB.

The critics said that she did good in playing emotional support. After 2013, Amrita Rao had a big hiatus in her film career. She came back on the silver screen after six long years with the release of her movie Thackeray in 2019 in which she played the role of Meena Tai Thackeray. Amrita Rao is one of the Bollywood actors fans want back on screen. We want to watch her more on the celluloid.

Bollywood actors fans want back on screen

Another actor who has been missing for a long time is the Ghazini actress Asin. She primarily worked in the South film industry such as in the Telugu ,Tamil and Malayalam film industry. She was even referred to as “Queen of Kollywood”. Her first Hindi film was Ghazini, a massive blockbuster hit. She played opposite Aamir Khan and was highly praised for her acting because she managed to leave a mark on the minds of the audience even after starring against an actor like Aamir Khan who has a great stature in the film industry.

She continued to deliver box office smashes and received positive reviews for her films Ready, Housefull 2, Bol Bachchan and Khiladi 786. In all these movies she starred against bigwigs of the film fraternity such as Salman khan, Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Ajay Devgan. The last Hindi film in which she starred was All is Well in 2015. Since then, we haven’t seen her on the silver screen. Her ardent fans are waiting for her. She is one of the Bollywood actors fans are waiting for. We hope she will return for her fans. 


Bollywood actors fans want back on screen

Siddharth is another Bollywood actor fans are waiting to see on screen. His first Hindi film was Rang De Basanti which came in 2006. The film was a colossal success. He was bestowed with a screen award for best male debut and nominated for several awards that year. He was last seen in a Hindi web series Leila in 2015. Siddharth was critically acclaimed for his performance in Rang De Basanti. He works rarely in Hindi films and fans want to see more of him. Thus, he has made it to this list of Bollywood actors fans want back on screen.

Imran Khan

Imran Khan is yet another Bollywood actor who has been missing from the silver screen for a long time.  As a child artist, he featured in two films Qayamat se Qayamat tak and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar. In  both these films, he played the role of a young Aamir Khan. His official debut was in the year 2008 with the film Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na. The film was a critical and commercial success.

Imran was appreciated for his acting. But, after that he gave two flop films and the media cited him as a “one film wonder.” After some time, he gave a string of hit films. However, his number of flops increased. His last release was in the year 2015. And his absence from the silver screen has been for too long now. Imran Khan is definitely an actor we want to watch on screen again.
